The clouds were rolling in, and the discs were flying high as I ventured down to Ashland, Kentucky, for the Oil City Classic. Accompanied by Mike from DiscGolfVanLife, who was not just there to enjoy the scenery but to compete, we were both geared up for an eventful day.

The Oil City Classic, presented by The Nati, is one of those tournaments that brings together both seasoned pros and enthusiastic amateurs, all with a shared love for the game. Mixed Pro Open (MPO):

• Zach Arlinghaus ^{PDGA #65266} took the lead with a score of -19, bagging the top prize of $678.
• Calvin Caldwell ^{PDGA #50024} followed closely, securing the second position with a score of -13 and a prize of $446.
• Tyler Horne ^{PDGA #16058} showcased his skills, finishing third with a score of -11 and a prize of $342.

Mixed Amateur 1 (MA1):

• Dale Sapp ^{PDGA #83780} emerged as the winner with a score of -2.
• Christian Riley ^{PDGA #102541} was right on his tail, finishing second with a score of -1.
• Ryan McMath ^{PDGA #50408} rounded out the top three with a score of +3.
