Records, Ratings, and Big Wins in Tallahassee
The 20th Open at Tallahassee was more than just the first DGMT Pro Weekend of the year—it was a stage for history. Grady Shue took home the MPO win at -25, but the FPO division delivered the weekend’s biggest moments, with Jordan Lynds and Rebecca Cox rewriting the record books.
Lynds set the FPO course record in round 1 with a -6 (60), only for Cox to break it in round 2 with a bogey-free -10 (56), earning her the first 1000-rated round of 2025 in the FPO division. In the final round, Lynds responded by going bogey-free with a -11 (55), reclaiming the record and securing the win—while also shooting the second 1000-rated FPO round of the year.
With multiple records shattered and elite-level play on display, the 20th Open at Tallahassee set the bar high for the 2025 season.

Grady Shue Dominates MPO for the Win
In the MPO division, Grady Shue put together a dominant performance to claim victory at -25. He started with a steady -5 in round 1, surged ahead with a -9 in round 2, and closed out the tournament with an impressive -11 in the final round. Joseph Anderson (-24) kept the pressure on, while Jake Monn and Bradley Williams (-23) remained in contention, but Shue’s explosive final round secured the win. With this strong showing, Shue establishes himself as a key contender early in the 2025 season.

1000-Rated Magic: Rebecca Cox’s Record-Breaking Round 2
Round 2 belonged to Rebecca Cox, who delivered a flawless performance and made history in the process. Cox shot an incredible bogey-free -10 (56), setting another new FPO course record at Tom Brown Park and becoming the first woman in 2025 to record a 1000-rated round. Her precision off the tee and confidence on in her putts allowed her to climb back onto the lead card after a slower start in round 1.
Cox’s round 2 masterpiece not only put her in contention for the win but also showcased the high level of competition in FPO this season. With her name already in the record books, she entered the final round determined to chase down the lead and fight for the title.
Bogey-Free and Untouchable: Lynds Locks in the Win
Just when it seemed like Rebecca Cox’s -10 would stand as the defining round of the weekend, Jordan Lynds delivered an even bigger statement. Entering the final round with a slim lead, Lynds put on a clinic, shooting a bogey-free -11 (55) to reclaim the FPO course record and secure the win. The performance also marked the second 1000-rated round of 2025 in FPO, proving that Lynds is a force to be reckoned with this season.
Lynds’ consistency across all three rounds— -6, -3, and -11 —gave her a final total of -20, earning her a three-stroke victory over Cox (-17). While Cox and Lisa Fajkus (-11) applied pressure throughout the event, Lynds’ ability to stay clean in the final round sealed the deal. With a record-breaking weekend and two early-season wins under her belt, Lynds has firmly established herself as the dominant twin in the 2025 season.

Celebrating the Champions & The Team Behind the Event
